This is what I am hoping for for 8year old Ashton, and his very wonderful extended family, whom I met just before Christmas through the ACOCP (click on the ‘Support’ link in the top menu bar for more about this incredible organisation, of which I am proud to be a member). Ashton and his family kindly allowed me to share a wonderful picnic afternoon with them recently, and I hope you all enjoy these few images. There are lots more to come, I cannot thank you enough for your patience during what has been a very hectic month for me. Happy New Year, and I hope all your news is good

Sarah-
I am not even sure how I came across your blog, but had to stop an comment on this. My 7 year old son is a cancer survivor and these picture of this family brought tear to my eye. You have done an amazing job capturing the spirit and love of a family going through a critical illness. You also showed that although kids have illnesses, they are still amazing, loving, and happy children. Thank you Sarah. This is beautiful.
We met Ashton and the whole family last year. There are beautiful people. We hope they have many happy days together. Your pics bring back to me good memories from the short but wonderful time I had with them. Good work Sarah.
