I photograph families, maternity, newborns, small babies, bigger babies, perfectly behaved children, crazy crazy children, spotty 16 year olds, couples in love, couples getting married, people celebrating stuff, people eating, drinking, living, loving. I photograph People, doing people-y stuff.
I prefer to photograph in your home, and outside your home, and in the parks with the big old trees, in the parks with the long unkempt grass, the fabulous old bluestone city streets, train stations (yes I know I am not allowed), at the beach of course, at wineries, in old rusted out sheds in the country, along the sides of roads, against interesting doors, and along your paling fence (you would be surprised how well this comes up in a photo).
I am happy and intense and lots of fun and slightly crazy and very normal. I have three kids of my own, aged 6, 4 and 1. So I can relate.
I am an Emerging Member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers), and have recently won Silver awards at both the 2010 Epson AIPP Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year Awards, and the 2010 Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year (APPA) awards.
I am also a proud member of the ACOCP (Australian Community of Child Photographers) - see the link to the latter at the top of the page.
Finally, I am currently expecting my 4th child in September 2010, and will be on maternity leave from July 2010 until February 2011, apart from pre-booked wedding work. I will be taking bookings during that time, however, for my return to work, so please be in touch to book your session sooner rather than later.
