I doubt that Archie has ever seen a cake before, let alone be given one to play with. So as you will see in the photos, he didn’t really know what to do with it. I think I had as much fun with all this as he did, and was so busy with the fun part, and watching also where the icing was going, that I underexposed most of these photographs by a couple of full stops. So they are grainer than I wanted them to be…sigh……. but still so cute I think (although I guess I am biased).

Now I now this is a little more cheesy than my usual style, but in this case the photography suits the subject and that’s all I ever care about…..so pass the crackers!

Will be playing a bit in this new studio setup in the next few months, with the possibility of offering a complimentary studio mini-session such as this with my newborn photography..so, as always, feel free to offer feedback. I am absolutely a natural light devotee, but I think that studio occasionally has its place too…..

We are all off to Sydney for a week now, on a boat, in 80kmh winds. This excites my husband, but not me so much. Wish me luck.
